The template system addresses one of the biggest challenges retailers face when switching POS systems: configuration time. Rather than starting from scratch and configuring every setting manually, retailers can select a template that matches their business type and have a fully functional POS system in hours, not days.

Each template includes pre-configured settings for inventory categories, tax rates, payment methods, receipt layouts, and reporting dashboards that match the specific needs of each retail vertical.

What The Template System Includes
Every template comes with pre-configured hardware profiles, payment processing integration, receipt and label printing layouts, customer display settings, tax rule sets for each location, inventory categories and subcategories, employee role permissions, and reporting dashboard configurations.
Available Now
The Retail POS Template System is available now for all new POWRPOS deployments and existing customers can contact their account manager to migrate to a template. Additional templates for specialty verticals — including pharmacies, hardware stores, and pet supply retailers — are in development for Q3 2026.
